Are you or someone you know interested in joining the mission with Autism Strong Foundation as a summer 2024 Intern? Do you want to learn how to fundraise and support a wonderful cause? If so, we want to hear from you! 

 Apply to join our team as a Summer Intern- Be the Change Achiever!

 At Autism Strong Foundation (ASF) we come alongside families to provide financial assistance to help them pay for therapy expenses, which can make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. Autism Strong can be a valuable resource for families residing in the Greater Charlotte Region facing financial challenges as they raise a child with autism.

As we continue to grow our reach and impact, we are excited to introduce our first year with our ASF Summer Internship- Be the Change Achievers Program! Come alongside us and learn about the real work and amazing opportunities within a non-profit organization, started locally in Charlotte, NC. 

 What does it mean to be an ASF Intern:

  • Learn about Autism and our involvement in the community
  • Work as a team to create and execute an impactful fundraising event
  • Experience firsthand how to run a non-profit
  • Gain leadership skills and positive community involvement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  8 week term, June 3 – August 3 (week of July 4th off)
  • 10-15 hours per week
  • Attend team meetings and events
  • Work as a team to create, market, promote and execute a fundraising project that will benefit ASF

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Age 16 +
  • Must be currently enrolled in high school or at an accredited college/university working toward a bachelor’s degree
  • Live in Charlotte, NC area (for the summer)
  • Dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work as a member of a team and have a positive attitude

 The ASF Intern is not paid, but can qualify for service hours. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in our community while gaining valuable work experience in the non-profit sector.
