Southern Psychological: Autism Diagnostic Assessments

We currently do not have a wait list for a comprehensive diagnostic autism assessment! If you are tired of long waitlists for appointments with a developmental pediatrician, TEACCH evaluation, or with other private providers, look no further! Owner and autism specialist, Kelly Adamchick, has over 20 years of experience in the treatment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders and has extensive training using the ADOS-2.

Insight Carolinas: Autism Diagnostic Assessments

An assessment can be helpful if you are experiencing new, worsening, or persistent concerns with things such as mood, attention, relationships. It can also be helpful for young children who seem to be “late bloomers” to determine if a developmental delay is present and to maximize gains with early intervention. An assessment can give the clarity and insight you need to have informed care.

ABS Kids - Autism Diagnosis

The signs of autism spectrum disorder look different for every child, for every stage of life When there’s no clear path to understanding early signs of autism, it can lead to stress and frustration for you and your child. Early intervention is clinically proven to help children with developmental delays grow to their greatest potential. An autism diagnosis can help you understand your child’s strengths, deficits, and reasons for struggle in certain settings, laying the foundation for a personalized treatment plan.

North Carolina Early Intervention

The North Carolina Early Intervention Section (NCEI) is a part of NCDHHS' Division of Child and Family Well-Being. It is the lead agency for the North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program (NC ITP). The NC ITP provides support and services for families and their children, birth to three who have special needs. Research shows that this time period is critical. It offers a window of opportunity to make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns. Sixteen Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs) across North Carolina work with local service providers to help families help their children succeed.

South Carolina Baby Net

BabyNet is South Carolina’s interagency early intervention system for infants and toddlers under three years of age with developmental delays, or who have conditions associated with developmental delays.

Anyone (a parent, doctor, caregiver, teacher or friend) can make a referral. Look for signs that an infant or toddler might need extra help. If you suspect a child may have a problem, the earlier you get help, the better!
